Cookie Policy
What we use, why, and how to switch off the ones you don't want.
Last updated: 23 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Misaka Networks, LLC, operating under the trading name Railgun Dev (“we”, “us”, “our”) — a Delaware-registered limited liability company at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States — uses cookies and similar technologies on railgun.dev. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device. Cookies allow sites to remember your actions and preferences (like language, login state, or analytics) over a period of time, so you don’t have to re-enter them on every visit.
Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, and SDKs — work the same way for the purposes of this policy.
2. The cookies we use
We keep cookie use to a minimum. We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioral tracking, or selling your information.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site to work. They cannot be turned off.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session / CSRF tokens | Keep the contact form secure and prevent abuse | Session |
| Preference cookies | Remember basic preferences (e.g. theme) | Up to 1 year |
| Consent record | Remember your cookie consent choice (where applicable) | Up to 1 year |
Analytics cookies (optional)
When enabled, we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages are useful, where visitors come from, and how the site performs. Data is aggregated and anonymised. We do not track individuals across other websites and we do not build advertising profiles.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics identifier | Distinguish visits in aggregate (no personal profile) | Up to 13 months |
If we add a third-party scheduling tool (for booking calls), it may set its own cookies when you interact with the booking widget. Those are governed by the scheduling provider’s policy.
3. Your choices and regional rights
How you control cookies depends on where you are.
EU / UK / EEA
Under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, we ask for your prior consent before setting non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics). You can accept, reject, or change your preferences via the consent banner on first visit.
California (CCPA / CPRA) and other US states
You have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising, but we still honor opt-out signals (see Global Privacy Control below).
Canada (PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25)
We collect optional analytics cookies on the basis of your meaningful consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings.
Australia (Privacy Act 1988)
Where cookies collect personal information as defined under the Australian Privacy Act, we handle them in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Across all regions, you can also
- Delete cookies from your browser settings at any time
- Block cookies in your browser settings (note: blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site)
Browser-level controls
Most browsers let you manage cookies through Settings → Privacy. Useful links:
4. Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where transmitted by your browser as both:
- An opt-out of optional analytics cookies, and
- A “do not sell or share” signal for purposes of US state privacy laws (CCPA / CPRA and equivalents).
There is no industry standard for the older “Do Not Track” header, so we do not rely on it.
5. International data transfers
Cookie data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. See Section 7 of our Privacy Policy for how we handle international transfers.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools change. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage or via email if we hold your address.
